The drink has become a viral sensation, promoted on YouTube, prompting stores across the country to sell out.
Here’s everything you need to know.
What is Prime?
Prime is a ‘hydration’ drink that comes in a variety of flavours and is hugely popular due to effective online marketing.
Flavours include Meta Moon, Ice Pop, Blue Raspberry, Tropical Punch, Lemon Lime, Orange and Grape.
It contains 10 per cent coconut water, 2g of sugar, 25 calories, 250 mg of BCAAs (which enhances muscle growth), 830 mg of electrolytes, as well as vitamins and antioxidants
It was created by Prime Hydration, which was founded by KSI, real name is JJ Olatunji, and fellow YouTuber Logan Paul.
They have a combined YouTube following of almost 40 million people. The pair were previously rivals but have promoted the drink as what happens when people come together.
Asda was the exclusive stockist, but then Aldi came along with a Special Buy last month that saw shoppers clearing the shelves, despite reported limits on how many people could buy. They were selling the bottles for £1.99 each.

Costco has also been rumoured to be stocking the drink in coming weeks to if you’re lucky enough to find some.
People have been selling the drinks at inflated prices online, with one woman reportedly buying 12 “packs” or Prime for £1,200.
KSI urged his fans to “stop buying it at these prices”.
A 12 pack is supposed to cost £24.
How can I find some?
It is thought to know where or when Prime will be back in stock. But an app was launched last summer allowing people to stay informed.
Prime Tracker UK is 89p and is available in the app store. It has 23,000 followers on Twitter.
KSI said of the app: “Basically there’s this app which allows you to try and find where Prime is actually in stock – whether it’s Aldi, whether it’s Asda, whether it’s a Spar, literally it shows you everywhere where there’s Prime.
“A lot of the time it’s just this, it’s just red [shows the screen]. The closest place for me to get Prime in stock is Baskingstoke, which is 45 miles away, so I guess that’s why people are very excited when they get Prime because it’s just so hard to find.”
He added: “I know so many people who have yet to even taste Prime, like they haven’t tried any of the flavours, let alone the new flavours, but yes, any parents watching, this is a good app to try and find some Prime.”
Tom Bastable, who created the app, said: “I just made it after Asda stopped allowing customer service to communicate stock over socials. They don’t provide any type of online stock system either. I’m just a massive fan.
“KSI gave us a shout-out once in a Q&A, but this was the first time he actually acknowledged the app and recommended it. He’s interacted with us on Twitter a bunch too. It’s really awesome to have his support.”
